Great Power Paddle M. Carlson Intermediate

Pros: This paddle is quick and has power. I bought the 14mm and I like the low weight. I use a six zero dbd paddle which is great too. But I do like the power and light weight of the gearbox. You need to do a topspin with the gearbox because it’ll go out of the court. At first the paddle was wild, no control, but after 1-2 days of playing it has fantastic power.

Cons: Not much. Sweet spot is a little smaller than most paddles. But you’ll get the hang of it.

Pros: Huge sweet spot and plenty of power and still can put alot of spin on the ball. New Joola paddles pale in comparison

Cons: My first paddle lasted 3 months but was replaced under warranty. I now have 2.

My TKR PT motivator danny derr Intermediate

Pros: read up on this paddle quite a bit, but at 3 weeks after total knee replacement, so it's the paddle to help be navigate the painful at times PT sessions to get back range of motion and strength.

Cons: It's pickleball.. there is no Cons.

Power out the wazoo Ed Intermediate

Pros: For skilled power-oriented players, this paddle can't be beat. All the power (or more) of a Power Air or Black Ace, but with more touch and forgiveness. Gearbox killed it with this one! Whereas every other company is simply producing variations on the poly core sandwich theme, Gearbox is charting its own course -- unafraid to innovate and push the limits of what's possible in a pickleball paddle.

Cons: Not really a con, but this paddle is not for everyone. You must have a refined sense of touch and finesse to harness the power of this beast! Also, this paddle needs a fair amount of lead tape to bring out it's potential. That's going to increase the static and swingweight, which requires strength from the player.

Pros: Best paddle I have ever played with. Incredible power, but I still feel like I can keep the ball in the lines.

Cons: Takes some adjusting to the poppiness around the net, but worth it
